Untangle is a Linux based firewall distribution. There are many of them out there. I have only tried it out as a trial, but I found it limited in its features when compared to other free Linux based firewalls, such as ClearOS, Endian, pfSence (BSD based, not Linux... for the nitpicky), or Zentyal.
My opinion is that you should try it and see if you like it. Be aware of the alternatives as well: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_router_or_firewall_distributions
Now if your going for the paid features, I cannot compare. I do not know how well it works compared to other paid software firewalls.

Does anyone in this group have any experience with a product called Untangle? Untangel.com
One of my staff came across this product and it almost sound too good to be true
It appears to be a firewall product but since that is not my area I am not totally sure if this is any good or not
Thanks for any advice about this.
