Can I assign the exact same configuration to 2 identical serial interfaces on a Cisco 2900 router?
My situation: 2910 router 2 WIC T1 serial interface cards (S0/0 and S0/1) We are only using 1 interface (S0/1), the other (S0/0) is not connected (and administratively down) I would like to copy the exact configuration from S0/1 to S0/0 so that if the S0/1 card goes bad, I can just move the cable from S0/1 to S0/0 Will this work? I do realize that I would also have the modify the router config to default route data to S0/0 instead of S0/1.
