That would save you the time of not having to do this. All servers running off the master image will be identical. I am at a customer site where I am trying to help them resolve issues with their 2008 R2 (XenApp 6) servers. Itappears every server was manually built by different people so it appears every server has been installed and configured differently. I am trying to find a utility I can use to do a comparison of the servers. Like what is different in software installs, Windows updates & hotfixes, file/registry permissions, etc. The servers are supposed to be identical and I am in the process of talking to them about automating their XenApp server builds. They all run Server 2008 R2 SP1, XenApp 6, medical software and standard utilities (Flash/Reader, etc) required by the software. But they are just "different" in unexplainable ways. Would be nice to run something that will use one server as the basis for comparing the others against. ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
