Regards, Michael B. Smith Consultant and Exchange MVP http://TheEssentialExchange.com From: David Lum [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Friday, January 20, 2012 12:08 PM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: adprep32 /forestprep fail I get this similar messages for OID's 1.15 through 1.18, and 1.20, 1.26 and 1.27. Another error is similar but starts "OID "1.3.6.1.1.1.2.9" defined for object CN=MSSFU2x-nisMap, ============================================================================== OID "1.3.6.1.1.1.1.15" defined for object CN=MSSFU2x-ipServicePort,CN=Schema,CN=Configuration,DC=mydomain,DC=local conflicts with the schema extensions needed for Windows Server 2008 R2. [Status/Consequence] Adprep will not extend your existing schema. [User Action] Contact the vendor of the application that extended the schema with the OID value "1.3.6.1.1.1.1.15" and resolve this inconsistency. Then run adprep again. This is Services for Unix stuff. I tried to blow away these entries via ADSIEdit but get "the requested operation could not be performed". Looks like I need to use LDF to modify the name so "MSSFU2x-" doesn't exist. This sound right? "OID "1.3.6.1.1.1.2.9" defined for object CN=MSSFU2x-nisMap," is another one, but it won't let me defunct it.
