HI There, I have been asked by our DBA to set-up a VM for each of some SQL servers on our VMWare farm.
The SQL instances are to be used as 1 SharePoint 2 Management services such as AV, LanDesk ETc 2 Lync Now its been a while since I installed SQL and 2008 R2 asks about a whole heap of services and what accounts to be assigned to these. I also beleive at some point the SharePoint and possibly Management SQL databases will be set-up as mirrored instances I asked the DBa and he says just go with whatevers normal. Useful not. So is there a standard set-up for these accounts? Is it best to set-up a service account and have everything running under that? I been googling for a while but cant find anything concrete.
