hi there, I am trying out SQL server mirroring,
I have setup a test lab, installed SQL server 2008 R2 on 3 different machines in the VMWare, and included in an AD domain. Installed SQL Server as defaults, and with dedicated domain service accounts accross all machines (they are in and AD domain) And every time I start the mirroring process i get a 1418 error connecting to the primary machine, when the primary machine is the one im running the SQL management studio from. I have followed MS technet articles, and various step by step guides, and they dont work, Has anyone done this successfully and willing to talk me through it or point me to a step by step guide that works, preferably from installing the SQL onwards.
