'Scaper here-I won't get started, but the show gets much better starting around the end of season 2/start of season 3. You've got to remember that this was before BSG, and probably why it was cancelled before it could end with season 5 (which was supposed to be the last). The miniseries at the end is what Season 5 was supposed to be, shrunk down into 4 hours.
