To quote Wikipedia, "citation needed". I haven't seen the inside of FPP Vista yet, but I've never seen an FPP of an earlier Windows which had such a thing. The Win XP Pro Upgrade FPP boxes I have, for example, has the COA (Certificate of Authenticity) on the outside of the box, and the Product Key on a yellow sticker on the folder the CD comes in. According to a copy of the Vista EULA I found with Google, "You may uninstall the software and install it on another device for your use." http://download.microsoft.com/documents/useterms/Windows%20Vista_Ultimate_English_36d0fe99-75e4-4875-8153-889cf5105718.pdf Are you sure you're not confusing this with the OEM kits? As you hinted at, they are married to the machine they come with, and do indeed come with a little sticker the OEM is supposed to affix to the hardware being sold. -- Ben ~ Upgrade to Next Generation Antispam/Antivirus with Ninja! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbelt-software.com/SunbeltMessagingNinja.cfm> ~
