Well, that depends on several things: 1) How confidential are those contacts? 2) Are there *really* only contacts on there? *REALLY*? 3) Does that smartphone have access to your production network, either directly when on wifi, or via a VPN connection? The answer to 1) is specific to your organization and to the individual whose personal contact resides on that phone. I'm guessing that the answer to 2) is no, there's other stuff on there. In that case, then it depends on the nature of the data that's there. The sensitivity of that data will be specific to your organization, and again, to the individual whose data is stored on that device. If the answer to 3) is yes, well, then you have an answer. If you're smart, you'll care about that device as much as any desktop or laptop in your environment.
