Does it require that you use AD accounts to authenticate? From: James Hill [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Monday, April 09, 2012 11:02 PM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: RE: WLAN config through group policy
Group Policy. Just be aware that you can't use PSK. There are different policies for XP and Vista/Wiin7 so you'll need to configure policies for both. From: Jeff Brown [mailto:[email protected]] Sent: Saturday, 7 April 2012 5:44 AM To: NT System Admin Issues Subject: WLAN config through group policy We are looking to change wireless config through several geographically dispersed buildings. I'm trying to find out if there is a way to push a simple config with WPA/TKIP out with GP? Several different kinds of access points, RAS is not an option, clients are mixture of XP and W7. Environment is W2K8R2. I see plenty of documents about doing this with RAS and using domain account credentials. Any know if there is a way to push authentication type and key? Thanks for any help.
