It can be a pretty steep learning curve, if you've never dealt with policy based backup software. It's a different animal from most other softwares. I have the books from the class from years ago. The class would really help with getting the ins and outs of the software down, without you spending that time at your desk trying to figure it out. I never went to the training myself, but the environment was already there and in production. All I needed to do was poke around and figure out how things were connected.

We have outgrown the capabilities of our current backup software and need something new. In our quote for Commvault the vendor quotes and STRONGLY encourages us to purchase 3 full days of training. Does anyone have suggestions as to why 3 full days of training would be necessary for Commvault? ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
