Suggestion: Do NOT disable the firewall service. If you want to test - leave the service running and go in and configure all 3 network locations (Domain, Private, Public) to have the firewall settings set to allow. You can get very strange behavior from applications and some OS functions if the Firewall service is Disabled.

I moved the computer object into an OU that has no GPO's linked. I logged on to the server with a local account and disabled the firewall service. I am able to logon using a local account. Server was working fine accept for the fact that it was blocking all traffic on port 445. So I was troubleshooting the issue by changing windows firewall settings via GPO edits. Now I am unable to logon with a domain account. Any ideas on how to correct this? Thanks!
