I used NovaNET/TapeWare/Yosemite/Barracuda/whatever for backup several years ago. It was a decent product at the time, and much cheaper than Backup Exec. The trick that caught many people unaware was that it keeps everything in a master database, so when restoring a file, you first find the file you want to restore in it's presentation of the filesystem, and then optionally drill down to instances (versions) of that file. Now, this was so long ago that the software could have been completely rewritten by now, so I'm not sure how much of this applies today. -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
