Ok, I held off mentioning this because I didn't want to state the obvious that you already know:), but your server likely has two Nics... How are they _both_ setup?

I statically set the IP from the console, but now when I remote into the box, the IP reverts back to DHCP. Ipconfig /all still shows the correct static address, but TCP/IP properties on the NIC shows that it should be using DHCP (i.e. doesn't show the address I entered from the console).
