All, I'm trying to figure out why SBS 2003 has a constant defrag running - I see defrgntfs.exe in the task list every time I touch this machine, except for short periods after I reboot it, and then it starts right back up again.
I've rebooted the box and (as the Administrator) done an analyze on the local C: drive, and then started the defrag manually, but again it just never stops. I've googled a fair bit, and don't see where it's starting from - I've also looked at the Scheduled Tasks, and don't see anything in there that would start it, even after showing hidden tasks. I have a feeling (based on some cursory looks at perfmon) it's hurting disk performance on this small machine, and I'd like to stop it.
