For most people here, I find the writing support built-in to Windows XP does just fine. For more complicated needs, I use "CDBurnerXP Pro". The license is completely free and not an issue for us. Support-as-in-assistance hasn't been needed yet. I'm more worried about support-as-in-updates, e.g., if Win XP SP3 breaks it.
