It's the weekend. Most people are not at work. It's not a self-propagating worm, so it's not setting off IDSes everywhere all at once. Office workers aren't expose themselves via either browser or documents. So it's not a crisis that drags people into work on a weekend. Most of the tech press is off-duty, and it's not serious enough for most security pros to cancel their weekend plans.
