I'm not sure about flop, but it's something of a turd.
I use it daily at work. I use XP at home. They both work fine though my XP
is more stable, I can deal with Vista's little issues. I haven't had any
terrible troubles with it. I'm sure SP1 will straighten out most of my
troubles. I'm patient.
I have a number of Vista users at well. Most of them don't seem to enjoy it
too much. They tolerate it, but when I hear complaints, Vista is usually
mentioned in there.

In theory an upgrade should offer a compelling reason to do so. I'm still
trying to find that reason. Every couple of weeks I look at my XP machine
and think "Is it time?" and always go "Nahhhhh". There just isn't much in it
for me.
For example the NT4/Win95 to 2000 upgrade was probably the most compelling
upgrade ever.

It's just kind of blah. I can take it or leave it. Like I said, not very
compelling.

InfoWorld is crazy. Windows98 or WindowsMe were the biggest
Windows-related flops.

Vista is not a "flop" - it has just aggrivated a lot of people for
various reasons including ease of use and driver releases.

Im still reading the rest. This looks to be a very well thought
article. I look forward to verifying yet another set of claims about
Vista. :-)
