Interested if anyone else has run into this.

So one of my home machines is my Media Center PC where I use it as a PC
and a DVR. Have a 20" LCD hooked up to it and a regular 27" television
(boat anchor). Have been wanting to get rid of the boat anchor for a while
and since the price of low end 32" HDTV's have come down so far, I figured
I'd just replace both with a 32" HDTV. Got a low end video card that has
HDMI out, and I thought I was all set. Hooked the whole thing up last
night and was very disappointed in the resolution. Even with the latest
drivers. Then I read this:

It had never really occurred to me that HDTVs run at a lower resolution
than a monitor. So I think I'll keep the 32" and just use it as a 2nd
monitor for watching TV, and hook the old 20" back up for day to day use.
Ug.... once again my lack of planning rears its ugly head.
