In my search for file transfer hosting, I've been doing a lot of research, and thus read about many "cloud storage" services. At the bottom of this post are some links to the more informative reviews I've found. The Ars Technica review has a convenient price comparison chart. At standard rates, DropBox is by far the most expensive service. Box.net is cheapest. SpiderOak I find very interesting because their crypto is (supposedly) entirely client-side. They cannot access your cleartext data. If you loose your password, your data is gone. Good cross-platform support, and flexible management, too. Middle-of-the-road on price, but it's a very straight-forward pricing scheme (just pay per GB, not user/file/type/color/etc). I'll be checking them out at home. http://arstechnica.com/gadgets/2012/04/cloud-storage-a-pricing-and-feature-guide-for-consumers/ http://lifehacker.com/5818908/dropbox-vs-the-alternatives-which-online-syncing-service-is-right-for-you http://www.theverge.com/2012/4/24/2954960/google-drive-dropbox-skydrive-sugarsync-cloud-storage-competition -- Ben ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
