Chromuium isn't the same as Chrome. The latter is based on the former, but they are different apps (how different, I don't know)

There was no way to NOT install Chrome (individual update on my laptop). After uninstalling, I had the same symptoms mentioned below. There is a Microsoft "Fix This" one-click solution but, I'd have to Google it again to find it.
