Ok, so I'm finally stepping out to consult on a more regular basis...sort of. my father passed away, and I'm taking over some of his business. He ad a local land line, a local fax line, and an 800 number. I need (and want) to move all three of those from the PRI they presently run on to a cloud provider, such as RingCentral. The PRI actually is a shared service between his business and another entity, and presently all they are doing is forwarding the numbers to my cell phone.
I've used hosted VoIP for home, so I'm comfortable with the idea, but need something more than Vonage or 3jam (besides, 3jam has been sold and are not taking any new customers/lines). I need basic business quality functionality for a small business with robust softphone, voicemail, faxing, conference call, and call forwarding and/or Single Number Reach capabilities. an Android client/app would be nice. The ability to get/maintain a listing in my local white pages would be nice. I started looking at providers and like what I see, however I have no experience with any of them Anyone have any feedback, good, bad, or otherwise on these providers? Any that I left out that I should consider? Here is the short list - I believe all of tehse can meet my needs: www.8x8.com www.aptela.com www.fonality.com www.ringcentral.com www.vocalocity.com I also found this site, and have just started perusing it... http://www.voipreview.org/all-providers-reviews Thanks, -- Jonathan, A+, MCSA, MCSE ~ Finally, powerful endpoint security that ISN'T a resource hog! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbeltsoftware.com/Business/VIPRE-Enterprise/> ~ --- To manage subscriptions click here: http://lyris.sunbelt-software.com/read/my_forums/ or send an email to [email protected] with the body: unsubscribe ntsysadmin
