Overview
GFI Software is very pleased to announce the Release Candidate availability of
VIPRE Business and VIPRE Business Premium version 6.0.
This release consists of an update for the management console, Windows agent
and Mac agent software.
The version numbers for this release are:
Management console: 6.0.5205 (NEW!)
Windows agent: 6.0.5481 (NEW!)
Mac OSX agent: 2.0.82 (NEW!)
Android agent: 2.0.4
Improvements and Bug Fixes
Corrected various issues with Unprotected Computers feature
Corrected an issue where Email Antivirus may not disable as expected
Corrected an issue where email notifications may contain incomplete
information
Corrected an issue where new agent installations may generate duplicate
reboot notifications
Corrected an issue where installing patches would not occur if patch scan
time was the same
Corrected an issue where iOS devices with long device names may not appear
in console if a SQL database is used
Corrected an issue where iOS devices may not be removed from the console
immediately upon deactivation
Corrected an issue where the Windows agent may conflict with Zenworks and
Hyena and cause a blue-screen error
Corrected an issue where Mac agent did not roll once the maximum size was
reached
Corrected an issue where Mac agent may not uninstall if requested via the
console
Corrected various issues related to Mac agent status timing
