I used both the hardware appliance and the software version. The info they give is superb. Nice to here it can now also do a bit of 2.0-style filtering.
One gripe I did have with WebSense was that they were slow to embrace new versions of Citrix. We deployed a XenApp 6 farm only to find that WebSense had no plans for an agent that worked on anything higher than XenApp 5.0. It's very annoying when a whole server full of users get the same internet usage policy applied when they should all receive different ones - especially when one of the affected users is the CEO. If you're a Citrix shop who want to use WebSense, avoid my poorly-researched pain and check the supported versions first!
