  I don't think that will work.  In my experience, if DFS finds files
that were already there when replication starts, they get moved to a
"preexisting" folder and then ignored.  Even if it's an entire copy of
the DFS share from before FRS got confused.  No prizes for guessing
how I know this.  :)

  I haven't tried this with DFS-R, though, so if you're => 2008, maybe
give that a try.
