I didn't want to drag his thread off topic, so I'm starting a new one Not to brag (much), but I just picked up a Dell Precision 4600 laptop at a really good price - it's a quad-core machine with Win7 Pro, 16gb RAM and an ATI Firepro video card, 1920x1080 display (15.6") and a 256gb SSD. ($1600 - sale still going as far as I know.)
Problem is, I'm pretty sure I made a small mistake. That 256gb drive just isn't big enough to hold the VMs I want. I should have gone with the 128gb minicard and a 1tb hard drive. So, I'm also looking for an external drive, either USB3 or eSATA - if you had the choice, which would you choose for putting in the laptop case for extra storage?
