The general consensus is to disable the chimney (windows 2003 SP2) and
live a happy life from then on.

Subject: Broadcom NIC issue
Anyone having issues with Broadcom desktop NICs? I have a
Gateway PC, with an internal Broadcom NetXtreme Gigabit NIC, and
starting a couple days ago, I'll lose connection to my Exchange server
within Outlook, and overall performance of the computer itself is
extremely sluggish. I've done the normal virus/spyware/adware/crapware
scans, with nothing found. I've also installed Blink Personal, which
has also found nothing, so I'm fairly confused. I'm just wondering if
the IP chimney stuff that was discussed a while ago could be affecting
my desktop, or maybe the darn thing is just crapping out on me.
Any ideas?
