Ahh yes, especially the Visionaries or Leaders quadrants. I've seen so many products from major vendors in those quadrants that were buggy piles of you know what. I don't care how forward thinking Gartner may think they are, it means nothing if it doesn't actually work.
These days if Gartner says something I find the odds are I'm best to go in the opposite direction.
