I've got DC's scattered across the US to include a few in India and Canada. The PDC emulater points to an internal Cisco device for time and all DC's point to the PDC emulator. From a client system I can type *net time /querysntp* and see that the sntp value points to the correct local DC, which also happens to be the clients local logon server. If I type *net time * from the command prompt I get current time at \\myIndiaDC is 4:24pm and local time (GMT +05:30) at \\myIndiaDC is 2/7/2008 2:53 AM. This appears to be the same for others throughout the enterprise. Even though the sntp server and time is correct I'm wondering why it points to this India server instead of my local PDC emulator. This India server is a member of the domain and I've confirmed that it does point to its PDC emulator here in the states. Am I missing something? Any responses appreciated.
