Several years back I subscribed NTSYSADMIN and ExchangeList to <http://www.mail-archive.com/>. Partly because Friggin' Lyris is bad at archives, too, but also in case the list ever died. If you wanted to, you could find the oldest message there, and then inject anything you have that's older into that archive.
