All, I seem to remember discussion of this from a while back, but can't locate the thread. Or, I could be hallucinating again - you never know...
I have a Win2k TS machine that I use frequently. I use IE 6 a lot on it, and a little bit of Firefox. Whenever I have one of those open, and try to specify a new site with ^l, or by clicking in the address bar, and hit <enter> or click on the go button, either browser will just sit there for up to 30 seconds, then the page will load. Yet if I click on a link in a current page, no such delay. WTF? Anyone have a clue what's going on, and what I can do to fix it?
