  That sort of thing seems to be getting more and more common.  When
we still had a company-wide dial-up provider for travelers, the
provider started doing that.  And there's the VeriSign "SiteFinder"
fiasco, of course.  OpenDNS does this, too, but you have to seek that
out.

  One more reason to run one's own DNS resolver and bypass the ISP
cache, I guess.
