What are you hooking it up to? If you're just looking to make a printer accessible over the network, you want something called a "print server". The JetDirect boxes from HP are over-priced but work very well. http://www.google.com/search?q=print+server If you're looking to connect non-printer equipment which just happens to use a parallel port, you want something called a "parallel port extender". I've never seen one that used Ethernet (which is not to say one doesn't exist). Many do use 8-conductor "RJ-45" connectors for the connections, though, so if you just run a long "network cable" directly between the two, that should work. http://www.google.com/search?q=parallel+port+extender -- Ben ~ Upgrade to Next Generation Antispam/Antivirus with Ninja! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbelt-software.com/SunbeltMessagingNinja.cfm> ~
