We got a legitimate looking (to the laymen) email from a Chinese company
just today, pulling the same scam. 


These type of scams seem to be on the rise.

This unfortunate practice has been happening since the year dot (sorry)
and has reared its ugly head again.

Several of my clients have been contacted by this company in the last
week.  They have a 0870 UK telephone number (relatively expensive in the
UK) and the people calling have English accents; not that that limits
them to the British Isles ;-)

I realise that most of you will be aware of the scam but, as a heads up
for those that don't, so that they might warn their clients/management,
