I have a DC that is functioning with respect to AD, but after a botched SP
install many subsystems have failed.

I don't have spare hardware, so I plan to virtualize this single DC with DNS,
DHCP, Internet Authentication Service and Terminal Server Licensing then build
a new DC on the old hardware and transfer all FSMO's, DNS and DHCP.

Two aspects I have never dealt with before are Internet Authentication Service
and finally Terminal Server Licensing. Any hints anyone could provide me with
would be appreciated.

When I virtualize the old DC, I plan to change the IP so I can rebuild using
the original IP as I don't want to change all the equipment that uses IAS to a
different IP.
When executing a "netsh aaa show config >file.txt" I see the warning that
export/import between different versions is not supported. The old DC is a
win2003sp2x86 machine and the new DC will be win2003r2sp2x86. Anyone know if
this allowed? I planned to unregister the old IAS server then uninstall before
I change the IP. I assume I can just install IAS on the new DC and register it,
then import the config (If it supports it between those OS versions).

Lastly,I assume Terminal Services Licensing must be done by calling MS? Once I
install it on the new DC, what should be the process for removing the old one?
Can I call MS and add licenses to it before the other is removed?

Thank guys!
