Or the Active X object is trying to access memory location which is in
use by another process which is an invalid access. Do you get a hex code
on the memory location it was trying to access? You might need to use
Process explorer, or depends.exe to load the dll's and find out what is
using that space.

Subject: Registering an OCX file

Greetings!

I had a screen capture app, "ScreenPrint32", which had been wonderful.
It
broke...

Subsequent attempts to re-install have resulted in the pop-up informing
me
"Error 339", and that xwpdlx20.ocx could not be registered...

Trying to register it from a commannd box (regsvr32
c:\windows\system32\wxpdlx20.ocx), I get this error:

"LoadLibrary("c:\windows\system32\wxpdlx20.ocx") failed - Invalid access

to memory location

Obviously, this machine has a problem somewhere...

What to try or look at next? Thanks!
