A new phone center application that hooks into AD will filter based on a new 5 or 6 digit extension for each users phone. Presently the extension info isn't being populated in AD so I'm wondering if anyone have a process or method for mapping phone extensions to user phone numbers in AD? I don't see a "phoneExtension" attribute in ADSI so I'm wondering if either the Custom Attribute 1 or the Telex Number attribute can be used for this? Any responses appreciated.
