The way it was explained to me on a few PSS calls and in a training class I 
went to is that LOGONSERVER is always accurate in Windows 2000 and not always 
accurate in 2003 and XP (don't know about 2008).  This was demonstrated in 
their lab and why they suggested using KerbTray instead.

That is not always accurate.
