Yup, Quark started on the Mac - but it sucked over there too - just a poorly written app. InDesign finally got Quark to rewrite and clean up many of their issues, but it may be too late - the momentum seems to be clearly in Adobe's favor at this point. Those who have moved to the newer versions of Quark seem pretty happy with it.
