This may be an odd one for most but I'm hoping someong can help me figure
out this annoying issue. I have a flash.swf file that I need to convert to a
.scr so that I can deploy it as a screensaver group policy for certain
group of desktops. I'm using a tool called Flash ScreenSaver Builder and of
the three other flash files I've converted this one doesn't seem to want to
work. The problem is that if you launch the swf file and select IE for
example, the screensaver works. If you use the tool and allow it to convert
the flash into a screensaver it creates the following three files:
ScreenSaver.exe
ScreenSaver.fsd
ScreenSaver.scr

Now if I right click ScreenSaver.scr or double-click the
ScreenSaver.exefile to test I get a black screen. The screensaver
doesn't appear to run and
I have no errors informing of a problem. This wasn't the case with the other
flash files as the screensaver would run when tested. I've contacted the
makers of the flash file and they're certain the issue is with the tool so
I'm in the process of contacting the application support team. In the
meantime I'm wondering if anyone here has come across an issue like this
before.
Any responses appreciated.
