What kind of connector?  If it's ST or SC, then you should be able to
just hook em up.  A crossover cable simply switches the transmit and
receive pairs, so that the two machines talk.

Is it possible to connect 2 servers together via fiber NICs?  With
copper we need crossover cables - is there something similar for fiber?
