In terms of security and malware defense, Power User = Administrator. Power User restrictions just get in the way of honest users, without really adding any real security. > How are the rest of you dealing with this? User equipment/software isn't permitted to be installed with or on company equipment without special permission, and that's rarely given. I also don't want to get in to the business of supporting 8 different brands and 102 different models of printer, all with their own drivers and issues. For printers, I tell them if they can get a manager's sign-off, we'll buy a printer for them for home. If they can't justify it to their boss, apparently they don't need it that badly. (For big wigs, I just buy a printer for them.) -- Ben ~ Upgrade to Next Generation Antispam/Antivirus with Ninja! ~ ~ <http://www.sunbelt-software.com/SunbeltMessagingNinja.cfm> ~
