Dear Windows gods, I was laying in bed last night trying to puzzle out
my relationship with Windows. Why is "Windows 7" going to be 7? I'm
assuming the 7 indicated a position in a chronological order? Or is
there some significance to 7 that I'm missing?

7. Windows 7

6. Vista

5. XP

4. 2000

3. NT4

2. NT3

1.?

Or

7. Windows 7

6. Vista

5. XP

4. 2000

3. ME

2. 98

1. 95

0. nt? 3.1? 3.0? prior?

Thanks Windows gods,
