If this is software RAID, partimage can only do a raw block-by-block image copy; it doesn't understand Windows software RAID, and thus cannot shrink or grow the partition. If this is hardware RAID... the partimage docs say it can only grow the image, not shrink it, so I don't think that will work, either.
