Yep, they can see the server both ways.

That is strange. Can your clients access all your DC's by short and long
names. I would try \\Servername\netlogon and \\servername.domain\netlogon to
make sure they can access it. Are the scripts in a subfolder of netlogon.

You know, I just did an experiment and played around with GP to apply scripts
and that works. Maybe I'm going to have to do it that way since I cant figure
out why it wont run from user profiles on the Win2k boxes anymore.

How are the login scripts being applied. Through GPO, User profile, or
other ways.

I started having trouble last week with the handful of Windows 2k SP4
machines we have at one of our branch offices. They will no longer process
kixtart logon scripts. They are logging on to a Win2k DC. There are plenty
of Win XP machines and they dont have a problem. I thought maybe it was a
patch issue but the DC hasnt had any patches in a while and I created an
unpatched Win 2k box and even it had same trouble. There are no events in
either the DC or the workstations that are helping in troublshooting this
and I am about out of ideas. I was wondering if anyone had any ideas that
may point me in the right direction. I checked the perms of the netlogon
share and they are fine. I can map a drive using the command prompt. Grrr.
