Given that: I'd mirror the two 73 GB drives. I'd install the OS to a 20 or 30 GB partition on the mirror set. I'd defrag the filesystem, fix the size of the swap file, but leave it on that partition. I'd create a separate partition on that mirror set for Exchange transaction logs. I'd put the 146 GB drives in RAID 5 (292 GB effective). I'd split it into different partitions for the Exchange database and regular files, sized based on anticipated need.
