I have a GPO that sets IE to use a proxy server. It sets the user's proxy settings fine, but they settings are not "greyed out" - meaning the user can just uncheck not to use the proxy if they choose to. Is this by design? I thought that when you set settings via a GPO - the settings become greyed out for the end user (this is how my XP Firewall settings are).
