I keep getting this error on about 30 files, I think it's why I keep having problems with rsync. Google-fu is failing me. I know I have heard of some others here using DeltaCopy or other windows-based implementations of rsync. Ideas? There has got to a switch for this. The file names are actually pretty small, it the whole path name that's long. (I personally don't think it's that long...) Partial transfer due to error Rsync.exe returned an error. Will try again. This is retry number 1 of 5 Executing: rsync.exe -v -rlt --delete "/cygdrive/T/UserBackups/" "10.10.0.101::UserBackups/UserBackups/" building file list ... skipping overly long name: (Filename Ommited) (error happen like 30 times) done rsync: readlink "(Filename Ommited)" (in UserBackups) failed: File name too long (91) (error happen like 30 times) IO error encountered -- skipping file deletion
