GAH! If I'm reading the crappy readme file correctly, in order to use the 12.4.40 software I need to upgrade the firmware of the card which is 12.4.38. I can only get it to show up in an Unconfigured state.

I've been an APC guy for years, but they managed to piss my boss off and he's looking for a different vendor. We just installed a SU3000XL with a network card in a server rack with three servers attached because the rep at Tech Data said it was the way to go. I was able to successfully get a static IP address on the NIC and setup the settings for the UPS but now I can't seem to figure out how to manage the servers. I installed the PowerAlert version 12 software that came with ups on one of the servers but it seems to want to communicate with the UPS only with the USB cable. I need to be able to do this for all three servers, not just the one, and the documentation is lacking. The disk that came with the NIC interface for the UPS only seems to contain documents no software. What am I missing here?
