I use a freeware utility call WinDirStat. I believe it provides all the
functionality you're looking for. If you're running it against large
network volumes, install the utility on the server hosting the volume
and run it from there.

Hi all,

What, if any, software are you using in a windows 2003 environment to
view what types of files are stored on your file servers. I am looking
for something to let me see how many files are out there and of what
type they are. Also if it could tell me what was created in the last
week, etc.

Thanks

Dave
